Font

Colour: The letters are red to reflect the blood that the main character injects into the milk cartons, a pivotal and important part of Confessions. The red also shows the pure hatred (anger) that the main character feels towards her pupils.

Style: The letters are spread out, possibly to represent the students that betray the main character (the letters look like small people). The letters are also rather thin, causing them to look cold and uninviting, which complements the disturbing plot, main character and genre (psychological thriller) well.

Size: The film name is in capitals to make it stand out.

I find this font/writing style very inspiring, and therefore I aim to choose a font that imitates this in some way.

My chosen font is Arial Narrow.

This slim font represents Shelly very well, as she is fading away both mentally and physically by the end of the movie. It also seems ill, anorexic and spidery, as opposed to large fonts, which look very comforting, creating a creepy and sad atmosphere that complements my genre and storyline well.
